A very important part of the social good accelerator was meeting fellow entrepreneurs who fully understand the passion and frustrations of this work! I still smile at the memory of hearing another entrepreneur saying, 'It is just so good to know that I am not the only person sitting alone in a dusty office staring at my computer screen trying to change the world!' This can be lonely work and meeting others doing it is not only encouraging, but it also opens the door for collaborating!

I was challenged and learned so much from so many people. I feel like I became part of a supportive community of like minded people who understand the ups and downs of innovation for addressing the hard issues people live with and the for profit world does not address. The encouragement and learning opportunities are amazing!

SGA helped me break down the core of my business for a stronger foundation to build from. It also gave me great networking opportunities, resources and connections. I was part of several business-building programs during my first year as an entrepreneur and I can honestly say SGA was one of the most beneficial for me.

The SGA program offered me so many opportunities for validation and constructive feedback I gained the confidence I needed to move my project from an idea to a sustainable program.
